Course Objective:
The aim of the course is to prepare foreign students to commence undergraduate and master’s degree programmes taught in English at Gdańsk University of Technology, at a level that enables them to understand lectures, use technical literature, and communicate fluently in both academic and everyday contexts.
Programme:
The course comprises four modules:
• General and academic English – 240 hours
• English in the fields of engineering and business – 120 hours
• Polish language (A1 level) – 120 hours
• Intercultural communication and Polish culture – 60 hours

Upon completion of the course, participants receive a certificate.
Admission Requirements:
• The participant has a command of English language proficiency of at least B1 level, either confirmed by a certificate or by taking a placement test organized by the CJO PG.
• The participant does not know Polish or has only basic proficiency in the language.
• The participant holds a valid residence document covering the entire duration of the course.
