High school students from Stężyca prepare for their studies at Gdańsk Tech

Gdańsk University of Technology and the Training and Education Unit in Stężyca have signed a cooperation agreement to improve the quality of high school education and prepare the students for studies at Gdańsk university.

The contract was signed on 19 July at the Stężyca Commune Office. Gdańsk University of Technology was represented by: prof. Krzysztof Wilde – rector, prof. Marek Dzida - vice-rector for education, as well as PhD Barbara Wikieł, director of the Mathematics Teaching and Distance Learning Center, Jolanta Wielgus, director of the Language Center and Krzysztof Kaszuba, director of the Academic Sports Center. The Training and Education Unit was represented by director Piotr Karasiński, and the meeting was hosted by Tomasz Brzoskowski, mayor of the Stężyca commune.

mgr Ewa Wawoczna

A graduate in English Philology from Gdańsk University has many years’ experience in teaching general English, Business English and ESP. She broadens her knowledge and skills participating  in many conferences and teacher training sessions organized by Polish technical universities.

She has been the Vice-Head for Organization since 1999. She is responsible for semester schedules, classroom allocation, calculation of teachers’ working hours and statistical reports.
